R is for Rhamnusia, Greek goddess of vengeance.

This is part of a Photoshop Class assignment that we have. Essentially, we have to pick a theme, and then find a magazine picture or draw a drawing for each letter of the alphabet.

I chose the theme: Greek gods and goddesses. Because I love Greek mythology, and I'm stupid enough to draw 26 of them. I'm even taking it one step farther: eventually, I'll have 52 of them drawn to create a full deck of cards. Fun X).

That was a quote that I wrote myself awhile back... and I thought that it fit Rhamnusia's character XD. So that was the inspiration of this pic... at first, I wanted to make Rhamnusia kinda remorseful at taking vengeance on someone, but then I was thinking, would the goddess of vengeance really feel remorse?

I thought it seemed kinda doubtful, so I decided to make her all "mess with me and you're dead."

What better vengeance than violence, ne? LOL... at first I wanted to make her all bloody... then figured that I didn't need to? I dunno, blood would have made it too gory, and I wanted this picture to seem clean. Well... relatively, hehe... with her clothes, I guess you can't call her completely clean. Do you think I should label this as mature? I decided not to because nothing explicit is showing, but if you guys want, I'll label it as mature.

I want that outfit, hahaha! Not that I'd actually wear it... well, I want the coat, but I'd wear something more suitable underneath... maybe leather shorts and a red vest or something underneath. And I want the wings O_o;... kinda. I put a few details into this piece, but not so many that people would get lost in them, I think.

Overall, I'm decently satisfied... of course, as always, there are flaws, but I think the nice color scheme makes up for it, haha! But... anyone can choose a good color scheme... ._.;;

I like the phoenix in the background =]... and yes, I wrote/painted the Chinese tattoo myself, hehe. It's kinda crappy, but oh well. Kudos to those who recognize it ^^.
